Hike to the Skytour Hochkar

Starting from the parking lot behind the Hochkar cable car towards the alpine inn, the hike begins through larch fields and across green meadows. A marked path leads under the Hochkar cable car over the ski slope up to the Hochkar subpeak past the "small summit cross". 

Once you reach the Hochkar subpeak, it is only a few meters until you can experience the breathtaking views on the Hochkar 360 degree Skytour. From the top station of the Hochkar cable car, go left – about 300 meters to the entrance of the 900-meter long circular trail. In good weather, you can expect spectacular views from the Mostviertel to over the Danube and into Styria. See for yourself!
