MOUNTAIN BIKE CIRCUIT 5: VIA DOMITIA - ESPACE VTT/GRAVEL CAP D'AGDE MÉDITERRANÉE

ATTENTION (information July 2025): following a fire south of Castelnau-de-Guers, the signposting may be damaged between points 3 (junction with circuit 5) and 4 (Etendoir des Fées). Rely on the GPS track.
Circuit N°5 takes you along the ancient Roman road, listed as a Historic Monument, with breathtaking views over the Etang de Thau, the Mediterranean Sea and sun-drenched Mediterranean vineyards. Departing from the Base Départementale de Bessilles, this trail combines nature and leisure. In the park, you'll find playgrounds, accrobranche (tree climbing), paintball, mini-golf, a bike stop, a pétanque pitch, picnic areas, a food truck and a 500-seater vacation village - enough to enjoy with family or friends.
From north to south, around the Hérault river, from east to west between the Canal du Midi and the Mediterranean Sea, the mountain bike/Gravel-FFC area N°138 Cap d'Agde Méditerranée offers you numerous marked, safe routes, with contrasting landscapes. Between basalt plateaus and Languedoc vineyards, discover 24 circuits for all levels: very easy (1 green circuit), easy (15 blue circuits), moderately difficult (7 red circuits) and difficult (1 black circuit). Signposted links lead from Mèze, Agde, Bessan and Pézenas.
