LE CARMAUSIN & CAP’ DÉCOUVERTE: Located on the very site of the old Carmaux mines, the Cap’Découverte leisure park offers numerous outdoor activities for the whole family.

AMBIALET: Celts, Trencavel Viscounts, Counts of Toulouse, Albigensian Crusade… the history of this peninsula has always been eventful. Built on its rocky spur which forms an almost perfect isthmus, the Roman priory continues to watch over the village as a true Gateway to the Tarn Valley.

SAINT-JUERY: The Saut de Sabo, a 500m long rocky gorge on the Tarn, offers an exceptional chaotic spectacle. This natural 18m waterfall strongly favored the establishment in the 19th century of a once flourishing steelworks complex: the Saut du Tarn. Today, the former industrial site has been converted into a museum.

VALENCE D’ALBIGEOIS: Former Bastide whose origins date back to around 1278. Located at the heart of the Ségala, a livestock farming land, it is an important center for cattle trade with a twice-weekly livestock market
