VIA DOMITIA HIKE

Leave the parking lot, walk 20 m and turn right. At the information sign, take the track through the pine forest.

Cross the picnic area to the left and reach the Via Domitia interpretation panel. Follow the Via Domitia for 200 m, then turn left (view of Etang de Thau, oyster beds, lido and Mont Saint-Clair). Take the second track on the left. It passes through the pine forest and low-lying kermes oak vegetation. Continue along the ridge, crossing a young plantation before coming out onto a track.

Continue straight ahead on the track, skirting the vineyard and continuing to the right to keep to the edge of the vineyard. The main track leads to the Via Domitia.

Cross the Via Domitia. Reach the edge of a large vineyard and keep to the right. Cross the crossroads and continue between vineyards. After the mazet (Mas du Sol), climb up through the pine forest to reach a crossroads of tracks.

Take the right-hand track, ignoring the various junctions, and rejoin the Via Domitia. > To reach the orientation table (yellow triangle): take the Via Domitia on the left for 100 m, then the small path on the left and retrace your steps.

Follow the Via Domitia to the right towards the picnic area, then use the outward path to return to the starting point.
