Le puech dels Carboniès

Point 1: Facing the war memorial of Berlats, turn right towards Béguinié.
Point 2: In front of Béguinié, turn left. At the castle, turn right, then straight ahead. At the fork, turn left (separation with the GR® de Pays des Monts et Lacs en Haut-Languedoc – Between Gijou and Raviège).
Point 3: At the cross, continue straight ahead. On the road, turn left and 40 m later, turn left again. On the small road, turn right; 60 m further, cross a wider second road and 30 m after, go straight ahead. At the crossroads, take left and continue straight.
Point 4: At the entrance of Saussonnières, turn left twice on the road (GR® de Pays marked in red-yellow).
Point 5: Facing Estang, turn right; 20 m later, take the second path on the left. Continue in the hollow path. Cross Nel up to the road. On it, turn right; 30 m later at a barn corner, turn left. Descend the path, immediately turn right.
Point 6: At Vitarelle, turn right towards the Moulin (leave the GR® de Pays on the left). On the D 154, turn left. Cross the bridge. Immediately after, turn right. At the top of the slope, continue straight. At the Barde crossroads, continue straight. At the fork, straight towards Calmels.
Point 7: At Calmels entrance, bypass the first buildings on the right. Take the first street on the right; 30 m later, turn right. Then straight ahead.
Point 8: At the village exit, turn left towards Julié. At the top of the slope in front of Julié, turn left twice. In the S bend, take the first left, then the second right. Then continue straight ahead. At the crossroads in front of Soulière, turn left. Enter the communal forest of Berlats on the left track. Go straight ahead (return on the GR® de Pays des Monts et Lacs en Haut-Languedoc – Between Gijou and Raviège). Right: variant via the other side of the puech Carboniès. At the fork, descend left.
Point 9: After the bend leaving the forest, continue straight ahead. At the crossroads, still straight ahead. Descend to Berlats.
