"Chläggi" Road Bike Loop Tour

The tour starts in Schaffhausen and heads first to Neuhausen am Rheinfall. The route then follows the main road through Beringen and Löhningen. From Löhningen, it continues on roads with less traffic through the Chläggi region to Hallau. From there, a flat, paved bike path leads to Trasadingen. The route then follows the official bike route via Wilchingen, Neunkirch, Beringen, and Neuhausen am Rheinfall back to Schaffhausen.

Enough water, a bike in good working order, a bike helmet, protection from the sun or rain, a GPS device or cell phone (the route is not marked)

Schaffhausen is easily accessible from Zurich or Winterthur via the main transportation routes. The tour starts at the Schaffhausen train station.

Take the train to the Schaffhausen station.

There are several parking garages available in Schaffhausen's Old Town. The closest one is the Bahnhof parking garage.
