“Necki” himself lives in Mogelsberg and likes to play in the Steinwäldli. The “Petri” from St.Peterzell loves to swim in the Necker. The Hemberg “Hucky” has his favourite playground in the Salomonstempel raised bog and “Bobo” from Brunnadern inhabits the rustic Choltobel. The fifth in the group is the noble “Tibby” who resides at the Neutoggenburg ruins near Oberhelfenschwil. Visiting the forest animals and finding their playgrounds from the Necki book is worth it. Who knows, maybe the Neckis will watch you playing.
On the Necki route through the Neckertal, young and old hikers find relaxation and fun. The Necki places invite you to picnic, rest or play. Competing by shooting fir cones, damming water or building bridges, weaving flower crowns, collecting fragrant herbs – or keeping an eye out for the Neckis. The Necki route is well signposted.
