The route starts from the town of Corsione. Walk along Via Cesare Battisti and, leaving the town behind, continue along the connecting road towards Frinco, Strada Vallie, and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach the crossroads in the Val Marchese region. Here, keeping left, continue in the direction of Frinco. Along the road, noteworthy are the suggestive views towards the town and the cultivated fields of Valleversa.
Once in Frinco, continue through the historic center in Via Vittorio Emanuele II. From Piazza del Monumento, continue for about 400 meters until you reach a crossroads.
From this point continue RIGHT ON Provincial Road 36 for just over 100 metres. Once you reach a crossroads, leave the Provincial Road to continue left on the dirt road that crosses the cultivated fields.
On this, the route continues straight on for 2 kilometers until it crosses provincial road 87 which you follow on the left. After 300 continue straight across the Asti-Chivasso.
After 100 meters from the crossing, the itinerary continues turning left, leaving the provincial road to cross the large fields again on a dirt road.
Continue straight on the dirt road for 1.5 kilometres, until its fork, from this point, the route continues to the right.
After about 700 meters you find yourself once again facing a dirt road crossroads. The route continues to the left, crossing regular crops until reaching Tonco.
Going up the Valle Versa, the curious profile of the imposing parish church appears, dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta and San Giuseppe, a majestic eighteenth-century work, built to a design by F. Caselli di Tonco, original with its pointed "cusped" bell tower.
The town centre, embellished with small but valuable local churches of San Giovanni, Sant'Antonio, San Girolamo, Santissima Annunziata, San Martino, presents signs of a noble past in the elegant eighteenth-century Villa Toso, Villa Mensio and in the Town Hall.
A peculiarity of Tonco is the fact that the town is characterized by the presence of many ancient doors in its streets, arranged to hide the courtyards of the oldest farmhouses in the country. Not infrequently these are united by the presence of a large arch of exposed bricks, to further embellish the entrance to the farmhouse.
