The route initially winds through the countryside around Pinerolo, reaching Pancalieri, a town known for its production of medicinal herbs, particularly mint; it then passes through Carignano, a town rich in history and architecture, and continues on to Moncalieri, home to the majestic Royal Castle, which is part of the Royal Residences circuit—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bike ride concludes with an urban bike path along the Po River, leading to the city center of Turin through the Po Piemontese Park and several urban parks.

We recommend tackling the stages with a bicycle in good condition and the proper equipment (helmet, repair kit, water, and snacks). Choose your clothing based on the season and weather conditions, and always bring a rain- and windproof layer.
Although routes with low vehicle traffic have been chosen, when cycling on public roads it is essential to always remain alert, especially near intersections and curves.
