The “climb” takes place along Via Massera, a veritable “wall” where gradients reach up to 30%.
On the final stretch, shaded by the woods, the gradients ease up and you can catch your breath a bit, even though the road continues to climb all the way to San Bartolomeo, the seat of the municipality of Prarostino.
Appropriate clothing and equipment are recommended.

Alternatively, you can follow the Pinerolo bypass to the intersection with the SP 164 toward Prarostino and reach San Secondo (2.5 km) via the hamlet of Miradolo.
After reaching Pinerolo by bus or train, you can cycle directly to San Secondo di Pinerolo in about 15 minutes (4.5 km) via the hamlet of Miradolo.
There are numerous free parking spaces in the center of San Secondo.
