Fossil Walk: Stage 2 Hamlet of Serra - Castelnuovo Don Bosco

- Castle: climbing up the village road, from piazza Don Bosco you reach a tower related to the old castle of which the underground portions and the bastions remain and on whose ruins was built the 17th century Church of Madonna Assunta or Madonna del Castello, which was later rebuilt. The site is also home to a park belonging to the tower. - Confraternity of Saints Bartolomeo and Rocco: climbing along thevillage road, a short distance from the route, you reach the 17th century church, at the top of a stone stairs that was once the bastions of a medieval fortress. The facade that can still be admired originates from an accurate recent restoration that has given it back its original classical appearance.
