Cycling Tour between History and Nature.
A route of about 21 km that winds through the rolling hills of the Turin area, combining history, art and breathtaking views.
The departure from Montaldo Torinese Castle immediately introduces us to the historical atmosphere of the area. The route touches the evocative Napoleon's Well, evidence of the passage of Napoleon's troops, and then reaches the famous giant bench, from which there is a marvelous view of the surrounding hills and, on clear days, of the Alpine chain.
Continuing on, you reach the monumental Napoleon Oak, a centuries-old tree steeped in history and local legends. From Montaldo, through a beautiful path immersed in greenery, you reach Andezeno with its characteristic "chiocciola"-the historic center that spirals around offering unique panoramic views.
The return is along white roads that cross the rolling hills, alternating between paths and secondary roads with little traffic, to Pavarolo, where the Casa Casorati museum (dedicated to the painter Felice Casorati) and the historic castle are worth a stop, before returning to Montaldo Torinese.
A perfect experience for those who love slow cycling, among nature, culture and Piedmontese tradition.
