GTA Stage 20: Alpe Pian Lago - Campello Monti

From Alpe Pian Lago you continue to cross in an easterly direction on the B97 path that leads to Lake Ravinella at an altitude of 1970 metres. From here, you shortly reach the nearby Colle di Ravinella, which gives access to Valle Strona and, through high altitude meadows, you start the descent on the Z99 path towards Campello Monti. Near Alpe Cunetta di Sopra there is the first fork, keep right and continue to Alpe Cunetta di Sotto, which can be reached in about half an hour. From Alpe Cunetta di Sotto, the itinerary continues downhill through meadows and, fording the Chigno stream, intersects the path that goes up to Montagna Ronda. It crosses Alpe Orlo and finally arrives near Campello Monti, where a convenient mule track leads to the village in a few minutes.
