The Rautio nature route, maintained by the Rautio village association, offers diverse experiences for nature enthusiasts. The route passes near a forest fire area, providing a unique perspective on nature's regeneration and changes in the scenery. Along the way, there are several pleasant resting spots where you can relax and enjoy snacks. Information boards along the route provide details about the area's nature, hiking instructions, and the nearby wind farm.
The network is easy to walk and well marked, making it great for both walkers and mountain and gravel bikers. The trail network winding behind Susineva from Rautio center offers options for trips of different lengths – so everyone can choose a stage that suits them, whether it is a short day trip or a longer cycling round.

The Rautio nature route starts from the Rautio multipurpose house, which makes it easy to begin the trip. The network is very well marked and along the way, you can choose a circular route of a suitable length for you. All routes return back to the starting point.
