A real natural jewel in the Rauris Valley
The Rauris primeval forest is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Rauris valley: Dark moor ponds, fallen spruces, stone pines, lush green moss and romantic clearings make this natural fallen forest a real natural beauty. In 2014, the Rauris primeval forest was awarded one of the 33 best nature trails in Austria. Duration of the educational trail: approx. 1.5 hours.
The starting point of the hike from the Lenzanger car park can also be reached by public bus (line 640) from the end of June to the end of September.
