Terra Volcana - Les Pays de Volvic

Welcome to Terra Volcana, the Volvic region!

This destination is located in Auvergne, north of Puy-de-Dôme, between Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy. Here, the northern part of the Chaîne des Puys comprises more than 20 volcanoes out of the 80 listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018.

More than 700 km of hiking trails await you around Volvic, offering extraordinary panoramic views of the famous Chaîne des Puys, such as the Puy des Gouttes, a volcano with a fascinating geological history.

Mountain bikers can enjoy more than 15 loops, shaped like volcanic rodeos between our volcanoes.
