Round route from Tangermünde through the villages of Fischbeck, Kabelitz, Wust, and Schönhauser Damm to Schönhausen, the birthplace of the former Imperial Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. The local Bismarck Museum is open year-round (closed on Mondays), and the park area is accessible all year. You can also visit the Romanesque Church of St. Marien and Willebrord (Otto von Bismarck's baptismal church) there.
From Tangermünde, follow the Elbe Cycle Path to Fischbeck. Turn left onto the main street and reach the village of Kabelitz via Kabelitzer Street. From here, follow Dorfstraße to the B188. The roadside cycle path leads to Wust. From Breite Street, proceed to Gartenstraße. Follow the Altmark circular route to the village of Schönhauser Damm. The Imperial Chancellor Route takes you left at the crossroads in the middle of the village towards Schönhausen. Via Bismarckstraße, you reach the birthplace of the Imperial Chancellor. Turn left onto Fontanestraße and you can leave the village again towards Tangermünde on the roadside cycle path parallel to the B107.
