TG17 Seewaldsee circuit

The route starts directly at the Gasthof Voglauerhof. After crossing the federal road and the bridge over the Lammer, turn left. After 600 m, turn right uphill, passing an abandoned gravel pit. Pass an old forester's house on the left, later over a bridge, after 2.5 km turn right at a junction towards Seewaldsee, Kühbichl, Brunnbergbauer. Passing the farms, you reach a short descent at kilometer 5.1. Then continue uphill with a gentler slope into the so-called Marchgraben. At kilometer 9.0, after a terrain edge, you reach the Seewaldsee nature reserve. Here, be sure to take a break on one of the numerous benches or satisfy hunger and thirst at the Auerhütte at the western end of the lake. Continue, now back on asphalt, in a descent to the Seewaldbauern. At 11.7 km, turn left. TIP: short detour to the right to the Wilhelmskapelle - a mystical power spot! Going downhill past the Schönau farmstead to a crossing. Turn left and follow the road, first flat, then downhill back to the starting point.

Attention grazing cattle on the alpine pasture.

Motorway A 10, exit Golling, on federal road B 162 towards Abtenau until Voglau, park on the right side at the Gasthof Voglauerhof.

From Abtenau about 5 kilometers to Voglau, park here on the left side at the Gasthof Voglauerhof.

Postbus from Abtenau or Golling. At the stop "Voglau Lammerbrücke".
