St. Martin am Tennengebirge: Schwarzenegg route

From the church in St. Martin, turn downhill onto the bike path towards Niedernfritz. This bike path runs parallel to the federal road. After 3.5 kilometers, just after the end of the bike path, turn right. First on asphalt, after 100 meters follow this gravel path uphill. At Nasenrotte turn right, then briefly downhill to the junction with a forest road. At KM 5.4 a short variant to the Sittler hut is possible (1.0 KM, turn right, last section very steep). Otherwise, continue on the forest road to the left, in several switchbacks up to just before the Harmlalm. Here steeply uphill to the Schwarzeneggalm.

Return is via the approach path.

Motorway A 10, direction Salzburg, exit Eben, continue towards Niedernfritz, turn right onto the B 162 towards St. Martin am Tennengebirge.

Motorway A 10, direction Villach, exit Hüttau, Niedernfritz, turn left onto the B 162 towards St. Martin am Tennengebirge.
