Walking Tour No. 5

From the playground in Eugendorf (Schmalzkoch), you start towards the center (church tower) and turn left, passing the Holznerwirt and the church. After the church, turn right and follow the street until the Kraihammerstraße branches off to the right. Then go straight ahead and from Feldgasse over the Thalgauer Landesstraße to Santnerweg. Follow this and via Alte Wiener Straße to the Landhotel Gschirnwirt, where you turn right and go through the underpass of the B1 to the Eugendorf Golf Club. Along Schamingstraße, you pass various golf greens until you reach Unzing, where before the unmistakable Jakobskapelle you turn right onto Unzingerstraße. At the Kraiwiesen elementary school turn right towards Reitberg. After crossing the Burgstallbach, at the next street turn right and immediately left towards Reitberg. At the intersection with Knutzingweg, you have to cross the street and continue for a short section along the L103 Thalgauer Landesstraße. At Auerbach turn left and follow the street via Wangerweg to the pedestrian underpass of the B1. Use this underpass and then turn right and then left and via Kraihammerstraße back to the starting point.

Attention: partly busy streets

You can reach Eugendorf by car via the A1, exit Eugendorf/Wallersee. At the roundabouts, follow the signs towards Eugendorf center/Kirchenstraße.

Eugendorf is accessible by Postbus, lines 130, 131, and 140.
