The Venedigerweg winds from the Hopffeldboden parking lot through the romantically wild Obersulzbachtal to the Berndlalm. This hiking path is particularly popular with families because along the 1.5-hour hike you pass six exciting stamp stations.
So, dear children, get your stamp pass and collect all the stamps along the Venedigerweg. The first stamp is given right at the start, at the highlight of the Venedigerweg, the 60 m long suspension bridge. Then it continues to the children’s alpine huts, and at the end you receive a reward at the Kampriesenalm or the Berndlalm, including a petting zoo.
Attention! The Hopffeldboden parking lot will be closed from 20.09.2025. Please park at the Siggen parking lot. Walking time approx. 1 hour longer.

Comfortable hiking or leisure clothing with sturdy footwear.
Do not leave marked hiking trails - dogs must be on a leash!
On the B 165, take the Sulzau exit and follow the road south through the Sulzau village area. Shortly before the Siggen guesthouse, the path crosses the Obersulzbach on a bridge. Follow this path to Hopffeldboden.
Attention! The Hopffeldboden parking lot will be closed from 20.09.2025. Please park at the Siggen parking lot. Walking time approx. 1 hour longer.
Travel by the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn to Mittersill or by ÖBB bus line 670 to Neukirchen.
The Hopffeldboden parking lot charges a fee and allows secure parking of your vehicle away from grazing livestock. During the summer months, a National Park staff member is available to provide information.
