Spartan Sprint

Spanning over 5 kilometres and featuring 20 obstacles, the course offers alpine trails, climbs, descents, water and plenty of action.
The course around Kaprun combines challenging terrain with classic Spartan obstacles such as walls, carries, monkey bars and spear throws. This makes the Sprint ideal for Spartan newcomers, whilst also challenging experienced athletes looking to set the pace.

If you walk 500 metres uphill along the Spartan course, you’ll reach the Stairway to Sparta (km 4 of the running route), and another 300 metres further on, Bender and the 9-foot Wall If you walk 700m downhill, you’ll reach the rope climbing and barbed wire obstacle where the sprint athletes crawl, near the Eisbärbar (KM 3 of the running route)
