Berg der Sinne

NOTE: Asitz is popular with both mountain bikers and hikers. Please be considerate of each other!

At the Berg der Sinne, grazing animals also spend their well-deserved alpine summer, including cows, horses, sheep, and goats. You can find how to behave properly towards them here.

For more challenging routes, please note the last descent of the Asitzbahn at 4:30 p.m.

BY CAR

From Saalfelden or St. Johann in Tirol via the B 164 to Leogang. The valley station of the Asitzbahn is about 4 km from the town center in the direction of Hochfilzen.

BY TRAIN

You can enjoy your holiday right from the start by train. No traffic jam stops you from coming to Saalfelden Leogang! In addition, the ÖBB timetable helps you quickly and easily find the ideal train connection to Leogang station: oebb.at (walking time to the starting point about 30 minutes)

BY BUS

The starting point at the valley station of the Leoganger Asitzbahn can be reached by Postbus from the town center of Saalfelden or Leogang. From the bus stop "Leogang Asitzbahnen" the starting point is reachable on foot within a few minutes. More information is available at https://fahrplan.salzburg-verkehr.at/

Flying Fox XXL
 "Flying Fox XXL" is the adventure that lets you rush down the slope like Superman at up to 130 kilometers per hour. From the Stöcklalm, you fly a full 1.6 kilometers over the valley and enjoy a fantastic view of the breathtaking Leoganger mountain world at 143 meters flight height. Dining options are available at the valley station (including Forsthofgut, Biohotel Rupertus, Riederalm, Salzburgerhof, Hotel Bacher Asitzstubn, Mama Thresl), along the way at the Forsthofalm, or at the middle station in the Stöcklalm or Steinadler.
