Heart trails Velenje - Big trail

The route starts at the information board in the Velenje Sports Park and after the first 100m of asphalt turns onto a macadam path along the eastern side of Lake Škale. In this part, it is identical to the Little trail. At the end of the lake, the Little trail turns left along the lake, the Great path climbs over a small slope to the regional road and along its left edge to the turnoff to the left to the farm and slightly right along the asphalt road up under the edge of the forest of the Odraž hill. The path then descends to the turnoff at the isolated farm, take a sharp left onto the macadam path that leads down to the Škale and Velenje lakes. Here, it merges with the Little Path again and then continues past the informational descriptions of the Fruiting Path, the description of the birds and the botany in this area to the starting point of the information board.
