We start at the church square of the beautiful Katharinen Church from the year 1250 and cycle to the Lensahner Hof. Who would have thought that there is an estate from 1790 here, which once served as the summer residence of the Grand Dukes of Oldenburg. Here we cross the K58 and ride through the beautiful hinterland, past remote farms, estates, and avenues. Upon reaching the Sievershagen Forest, you can still see remains of burial fields from the Bronze and Iron Ages.
We pass through the villages of Klockenhagen, Schwienhagen, and Manhagen, which are adorned with half-timbered and thatched houses. Passing fields and forests, we head to the monastery café in Cismar and enjoy a small snack. On the most beautiful country roads, we return past the Apfelhof Grimm to Lensahn. The sea eagle and the eagle owl are at home here. The yellow color and the sweet scent of the rapeseed fields will accompany us all the way.
