Welcome to St. Martin in the Passeier Valley!

St. Martin spreads out on the flat scree cone between the Passer and the gently rising hill terrain of Matatz. St. Martin is the largest enclosed village in the valley. The village of St. Martin also includes the fractions Quellenhof and Saltaus.

The village of St. Martin (only 16 km from Merano) spreads out on the western bank of the Passer below the Matatz peak. Around the parish church, already mentioned in the 12th century, after which the village and the municipality take their name, a stately settlement developed from modest historical beginnings in our century, which is the largest closed settlement in the valley.

St. Martin is located in the Texelgruppe Nature Park, from where extensive hikes into the mountain world or easy walks can be undertaken.
