Circular countryside route Riviera

A pleasant 15.1 km circular route immersed in the peaceful countryside of the Riviera, ideal for family outings and leisure cycling. With a modest elevation gain of around 110 m and a mostly easy-going route, it is also suitable for less experienced cyclists and families with children who are used to cycling.

The route starts on a quiet secondary road, passing cultivated fields and rural houses. The smooth surface makes it easy to settle into a comfortable rhythm from the outset and, after a few flat kilometres, you reach the Church of San Carlo, surrounded by greenery and an ideal spot for a short break.

The route continues along a combination of local and secondary roads, with gentle undulations and generally little traffic. This is followed by approximately 4 km in total on the main road, a mostly smooth section that should nevertheless be tackled with particular care, cycling in single file.

After leaving the main road, the route returns to quieter lanes and leads to the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo, an important historic landmark along the way. Shortly afterwards, you pass Casa Cavalier Pellanda, an elegant example of local architecture.

A short stretch of around 1 km on a cycle path offers a relaxing and safe ride before the final kilometres along secondary roads. With gentle ups and downs and views over the surrounding countryside, the route eventually returns to the starting point, completing an enjoyable and accessible circuit.
