Crans-Montana Bike Marathon

The start is at Lac Moubra and ascends towards Arnouva along the lakes Grenon and Chermignon. The route continues towards Marolires, then Courtavey. As you proceed, you will reach Ploumachit and then ride below the hamlet of Colombire with its ecomuseum. You then ride above the Tsittoret Suone to reach the Alpe Scex. A wonderful view of the Valais Alps, a relaxed atmosphere, and typical restaurants offer you unforgettable moments. Before the descent, one last effort is required to reach the Tièche water station. There you cross a small bridge before embarking on the well-deserved 15-kilometer descent via Cordona, Planige, Venthône, Tovachir to Chermignon-d'en-Bas. Now you reach the village of Lens. Worth mentioning here are the Fondation Pierre Arnaud and the Museum Le Grand-Lens. The return to Crans-Montana leads over the heights of Icogne, the westernmost village of Crans-Montana, or through the village Chermignon-d'en-Haut. The ascent demands one last effort before you reach your starting point at Lac Moubra, where you can rest on the beach or enjoy the numerous activities.

Our recommendation: A technically flawless bike, helmet, gloves and bell, clothing suitable for the weather (always bring rain protection), drink and food.

Take the A9 motorway exit Sierre-Ouest in Sierre, follow the cantonal road to the "Centre Sportif la Moubra" in Crans-Montana.
