A vigorous ups and downs on the sunny steep south-facing slope, through well-maintained vineyards, small wine villages, and historic places such as Saillon with the miniature vineyard of the counterfeiter Farinet, or Chamoson with the octagonal tower of St-Pierre-de-Clages.
The wine route leads through the Valais wine-growing regions from Martigny to Sion and traverses the area with gentle ups and downs over a length of 39 kilometers. It passes through well-maintained vineyards, historic places, and small wine villages offering delicious wine tastings. Spontaneous tastings are therefore possible in many locations. This unique cycling route is excellent for discovering the wine regions of Valais.
