Hockenhorn - Gitzifurggu - Leukerbad
1st stage: From the Gandegg mountain station in the Lauchernalp ski area, the route starts heading towards Milibach Glacier up to Hockenhorn. From here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding Valais...
2nd stage: In the second stage, you ascend from the Lötschen Pass hut to the Gitzifurggu. Then enjoy the long descent to Leukerbad.

From Goppenstein you drive into the Lötschental, passing the villages Ferden, Kippel to Wiler at the valley station of the cable car. Take the cable car up to Lauchernalp and then continue with the mountain railways to the Gandegg mountain station.
From Gampel-Steg or Goppenstein the PostAuto takes you to Wiler. PostAuto stop "Wiler, Cable Car". Take the cable car up to Lauchernalp and then continue with the mountain railways to the Gandegg mountain station.
You can park your car at the parking lot or in the parking garage by the valley station of the cable car (parking fees apply).
Arrive at the first Minergie hut in the Alps, enjoy the view of the Valais peaks, be pampered by the attentive hut team, explore the nature around the hut, stay overnight in spacious dormitory rooms, observe the stars in the suites - and come back.
