In the midst of the charming Lindfeld with its old trees and hills rises a picturesque ensemble of buildings. Next to the late Gothic ruins of Linth Castle stands Lind Castle, built in 1601 and given its present form in 1760.
It houses the "Andere Heimatmuseum", an installation on Austrian identity and a memorial to the concentration camp at Lind Castle from 1942 to 1945.
A unique institution within the Austrian museum scene. Special exhibitions, concerts, presentations of contemporary art, theater, dance and landscape theater take place every summer.
Visits to the museum are by appointment only (please call +43 3584 3091).
The park grounds are open to the public.
