The Uetliberg features an extensive network of hiking trails, catering also to mountain bikers. The "Planetenweg" (Planet Trail), a themed route lasting about 2 hours, provides fascinating insights into our solar system.
Cars are not permitted on the Uetliberg. The best way to reach the Uetliberg valley station is a quick 20-minute ride on the SZU (Sihltal-Zurich-Uetliberg Railway) directly from Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main station).
