Stuben 17, 6762 Stuben am Arlberg
Stuben, the small village rising just before the climb to the Arlberg Pass, is also known as ‘the Emperor’s biggest Stube’ (Stube is a traditional Austrian common room). In fact, emperors and popes, princes and merchants, pilgrims and vagabonds, hemmers and wagoners appreciated Stuben as a rest station. It acted as a shelter protecting them from avalanches and storms.
Similarily, the “Gasthaus zur Alten Post” was a beloved guesthouse in Stuben, and has been part of the area for centuries. Today the former coaching inn is run by the Brändle family. The APRÈS POST HOTEL is the ideal destination for anyone wanting a cosy yet exciting place to warm up in after a long day out and about on the mountains.
After a hard day’s work out on the mountains of the Arlberg, enjoy our APRÈS POST moments in four different room categories. We highly recommend the Deluxe rooms and suites. There’s something for everyone at the APRÈS POST HOTEL whether you visit as a couple, with your friends, or with your family.
