Beh na lyžiach Schauenberg / Huggenberg - Elgg

Our cross-country skiing slopes can be used by both classic and skating technics on virtually all over, including the slopes through the forest and the ones flood lighted in the evening.

The cross-country skiing area is located between 700 to 800 m above sea level, and can be found on the east side of the 'Schauenberg'-peak in a small village named Huggenberg. This area is surrounded by the towns of Ettenhausen, Elgg, Aadorf, Bichelsee, Turbenthal, Kollbrunn, and reachable in only 5-10 minutes by car. Or from even further away like Winterthur in about 20 minutes.

Our area has a specific climate condition somehow as the topology falls to the north side and climate therefore is a bit colder than further around. Therfore cross-country skiing is still possible where as in the same time in further surrounding areas there is no snow at all.

Of course we can't perform magic tricks. But if there is fresh snow you will dive deeply into a winter wonderland, and if lucky, you will enjoy an incredible clear view.
