Around the hotel village SCHÖNLEITN, families and winter sports enthusiasts will find an almost endless variety. Wonderful mountains and valleys on the doorstep and just a stone's throw away are Italy and Slovenia.

Winter hiking or snowshoeing, sitting comfortably around the fire in the village square, exploring the area on touring skis and then simply unwinding in the hotel's own SPA & wellness area before treating yourself to a delicious dinner in the Dorfwirt SCHÖNLEITN in the evening - that's a very special kind of winter holiday.

But skiing fun should not be neglected either. The Villach ski mountains Gerlitzen Alpe and Dreiländereck are 20-25 minutes away by car. The free ski bus takes you to the Dreiländereck and the Gerlitzen Alpe from/to the hotel.
TOP: the ski school with ski hire is right in the hotel, children's ski hill right opposite. Ski areas in Italy and Slovenia are also within easy reach.
