Achensee Hiking Programme 2026

Free hiking programme in the Achensee region from 4 May to 30 October 2026 – daily guided hikes with the AchenseeCard on 500 kilometres of trails.

The Achensee region offers a variety of hiking options – from challenging mountain tours to relaxed scenic routes. Guided hikes are a great way to explore the surrounding mountains with experienced guides. The free hiking programme runs from Monday to Friday. Participation is free with the AchenseeCard (guest card).

Monday:

• Summer herb walk until the end of June 2026
• Exclusive ranger-guided nature hike – from July to the end of October 2026

Tuesday:
Summit tour in the Karwendel and Rofan mountains

Wednesday:
Nature watch tour to the Feilkopf

Thursday:

• Nature watch tour to the Moosenalm until from 7 May – 25 June & 8 – 29 October 2026
• Excursion to the Tiroler Steinöl® (shale oil) distillery from 2 July to 1 October 2026

Friday:
Panorama hike

Additional tours

• Golden eagle hikes with nature park rangers on 26 May | 9 & 23 June | 7 & 21 July 2026
• Sunrise hike to the Astenau Alpe, every Wednesday from 3 June to 28 October 2026

Participation in the hiking programme is free with the AchenseeCard. Without the card, a fee of EUR 29 applies. Costs for buses and mountain lifts must be paid by participants themselves.

Tours must be booked in advance to guarantee participation. Please register no later than 18:00 on the day before the respective tour online at the Achensee experience shop - www.achensee.com/en/book-experiences.
