At the car park entrance, take the uphill farm track to the Lac Blanc refuge, below the fishing lake.

Variant (additional 1 hour 15 minutes): return via Le Coëtet. At the tip of the lake, take the path back to Le Coëtet car park. Follow the Bellecombe tarmac road a little, then take the lefthand path which crosses the meadows and intersects with the road. Cross Chavière hamlet and walk back up to the car park.
START: Bellecombe Parking (2300 m)
1/ Go back a little before arriving at the parking and take the dirt track on the right towards the Lac Blanc refuge.
2/ Lac Blanc refuge is guarded all summer. Sabrina and Yves offer simple homemade meals made from fresh local products and the possibility to sleep in altitude in a cozy dormitory.
3/ Slight descent to the "mirror lake" where the glaciers and peaks of the Vanoise are reflected. Trout enthusiasts will appreciate that the lake is also a fishing site.
Return by the same path or a variant (+ 1h15) via the Coëtet Parking. 4/ From Coëtet Parking, climb a little on the paved road of Bellecombe. Take the path on the left that climbs through the meadows cutting the road. Cross the hamlet of Chavière and climb back up to Bellecombe parking.
