Primitive worship must have been held here, where the chapel was probably built before the 9th century. This is suggested by the site of standing stones and cup-shaped stones located near the building. Later, the consecration of the building to Saint-Vincent points to the practice of viticulture. The discovery of a Gallo-Roman wine estate in Saint-Laurent-d'Agny also testifies to an ancient agricultural tradition.

Today, talking about the cultures of the Monts du Lyonnais means evoking the diversity of appetizing foods: fruits, vegetables, charcuterie, cheese... The Coteaux du Lyonnais AOC connects the flavors of this gourmet palette. Made from the Gamay grape variety, it produces red, white, and rosé wines.
