Franconian Wine Hiking Trail (RH) from Reicholzheim-Homburg
The hiking route is about 20 kilometers long and walking time is about 6 hours.
You start your route in Reicholzheim at the Winzerkeller in the Tauber Valley. At first, you go uphill out of the village. Always follow the marking "RH" and the white grape on a green background.
Along the way, you walk through various vineyard locations and pass through the villages Urphar, Lindelbach, Dietenhan, Kembach, and Dertingen. The end of the hike is in the Main valley at Homburg Castle.
Along the path, you can observe a variety of plants. Also, seasonal wine taverns as well as enjoyable wine and farm festivals invite you to stop by. Enjoy this nature and pleasure hike with a spicy, finely fruity Franconian wine.

From Wertheim, you drive along the Tauber towards Tauberbischofsheim, through the "Lovely Tauber Valley". After 7 km, you reach Reicholzheim.
Deutsche Bahn: Wertheim is located on the rail line Frankfurt/Aschaffenburg/Lauda/Bad Mergentheim/Ulm/Friedrichshafen.
You can reach Reicholzheim several times daily by the Taubertalbahn.
