The Feuerkogel, Upper Austria’s sunniest spot, offers a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of the Dachstein and the lake district, cosy mountain huts and plenty of sporting activities – promising an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Salzkammergut!
The Feuerkogel mountain railways will kick off the summer season on 10 May 2025 and will be open continuously until 2 November 2025.
Opening hours for summer 2026:
9 May – 3 July 2026: daily, 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
4 July – 13 September 2026: daily, 8.30 am – 6.00 pm*
14 September – 1 November 2026: daily, 8.30 am – 5.00 pm*

First ascent at 8.30 am. Services every 20 minutes from 9.00 am; continuous service if required!
Mountain railway services: every half hour and on the hour; continuous service on the Feuerkogel mountain railways if required
