Barr

• Go up Docteur Sultzer street.

• At the stop, turn right, then again right onto Degermann street.

• Continue straight ahead (Chemin de Gertwiller, Chemin Allmend). Take Barr street on the left to enter Gertwiller.

• At the end of the main street, turn left. After the Fortwenger shop, turn left onto Heiligenbronn street.

• At the end of this street, turn right onto Forst street. At the roundabout, take the shared path that climbs through the vineyards towards Heiligenstein

Heiligenstein

• Take the 5th path on the right following the brown "Terre du Klevener" marking

• At the exit of Heiligenstein just before the football field, descend to the right into the vineyards (Auweg towards Goxwiller station).

Goxwiller

• Go around the church and return to the station.

• Turn left and follow EuroVelo 5 towards Gertwiller.

• At the intersection with the level crossing, turn left towards Bourgheim.

• Cross the D1422 and take the bridge over the motorway.

Bourgheim

• Arrival at Bourgheim.

• At the end of Vergers street, turn left onto the D706 towards Valff.

Valff

• At the Au Soleil hotel in Valff, turn left onto La Rue du Moulin/D215.

• After the bridge over the Kirneck, turn right onto the Barr path.

• At the end of Barr path, turn left onto Zellwiller path.

Zellwiller

• Arrival at Zellwiller

• At the end of the path, at the chapel level, go straight on the D215 towards Stotzheim.

Stotzheim

• After the Stotzheim cemetery, turn right onto Haut Village street.

• At the end of this street, follow the watercourse towards St Pierre.

St Pierre

• At the end of Stotzheim path, turn left onto Erables street crossing the bridge.

• Turn right onto Eglise street.

• Cross the 1422 and continue straight on Lusthausel street.

• At the calvary, turn left to join the Eichhoffen road D98.

Eichhoffen

• At the end of D98, turn left, then the 2nd right (rue du Vignoble) extended by the Lichtweg path ».

• Arrived at D603, turn right, then again right (D253 towards Andlau).

Andlau

• You are on the vineyard bike path/EuroVelo 5 which you will follow to Barr.

• In the center of Andlau, take the D62/General Koenig street, then turn left onto the Andlau path towards Mittelbergheim.

Mittelbergheim

• After the Protestant church of Mittelbergheim, turn left onto Barr path.

Barr

• At the crossroads at the entrance of Barr, go straight ahead (Rue St Marc), then twice left (Taufflieb street and Collège street).

• At the Maison de l'enfant, turn right onto Brune street. Turn right again (Neuve street) to reach the Tourism Office.

Before you leave:

- Make sure the bike is in perfect mechanical condition, including tires and brakes

- Ensure the bike is properly adjusted to your body shape

- Wearing a helmet is highly recommended

- Bring a repair kit

- Remember that the highway code applies to cyclists in all circumstances

- Never ride more than two abreast and keep to a single file when traffic conditions require it

- Respect other road users as you would like them to respect you

- Choose a route suitable for your physical abilities

- Inform those around you of your route

- Check the weather conditions

- A first aid kit is not essential but can be very useful

- Keep emergency phone numbers handy and be informed

- Respect the environment by not throwing your food wrappers on the roadside

- If you need to return at dusk, make sure you can see and be seen

Wearing a helmet is not mandatory in France, but strongly recommended for your safety.

The proposed routes have been studied to be as safe as possible. It is up to cyclists to obey the traffic signs and the highway code
