The club was founded in 1971 and was able to present itself to a wider public for the first time on the occasion of the discontinuation of the legendary Graz Ringlinie 2.
Since 1980, the museum has been located in the remise hall of the former Mariatrosterbahn near the terminal station Mariatrost. Here the museum shows oldtimer tram cars from Graz, Vienna, Munich, New York and other cities to the visitors.
Every summer, special exhibitions are also presented, which deal with the tram and traffic history of the city of Graz, and oldtimer tram rides are carried out
Opening hours: The museum is only open on special promotion days in May, June, September and October!
