Welcome to the Schladming-Dachstein Holiday Region!

Whether you are looking for adventure or tranquillity, the Schladming-Dachstein Region has something for everyone. With around 1,000 kilometres of hiking trails, 1,000 kilometres of mountain bike routes and 22 via ferratas, the ways to experience our nature are just as varied as the region itself.

No matter whether you want to walk through green high valleys, follow one of the numerous spring or water hiking trails or are tempted by the really big peaks - in Schladming-Dachstein a scenic treat awaits you in any case. On our five long-distance hiking trails, this pleasure can be extended to several days, and if anyone needs a little help getting started: Eight cable cars are also there for you in summer and quickly help you over the first metres in altitude.

The Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, which you can get at our partner businesses, gives you free access to over 100 holiday attractions, including bathing lakes, swimming pools and museums, as well as the use of all cable cars and public transport in the region, in addition to many bonus services. In addition to the services for adults, the free Kids Sommercard also includes around 40 exciting holiday activities especially for children and families. There's also more fun to be had with our varied children's weekly programme, where games, fun, action and sport are guaranteed not to be neglected.

With our bike-friendly accommodation establishments, we are also there for all those for whom walking is simply too slow. From the longest downhill park in Austria to the idyllic Enns cycle path, we have 30 bike routes for you to choose from. Adrenaline kicks are available in the Bikepark Schladming as well as in the E-Enduro Bikepark Riesneralm, young bikers can let off steam in the Kids Park Reiteralm, and those who like to get off the bike on the ascent will have a real treat with our Bike & Hike routes.
