From Long to Pont-Rémy

Hiking in the heart of the Somme valley, passing through villages rich in heritage.
Departure from the Long hydroelectric power station, 2 options are possible.
The first, embark downstream from the dam (embarkation not equipped) passing near the campsite on the old Somme.
Or embark upstream at the boat launch opposite the campsite, then you pass through the village on the canalized Somme, alongside the grounds of the castle and its park. Then disembark upstream of the Long lock no. 22 and carry to the lock keeper's house garden to embark.
Arrival at Pont-Rémy, continue to the right, on the left there is a danger: the old Somme, where there is a risk of getting stuck. Two possible disembarkations: at the boat launch on Rue des Flaques. If you want to admire the village, disembark further on, at the left bank jetty at the Pont Rémy lock no. 23. You will then pass the castle ruins on the left bank and the church on the right bank
