The path leads towards Herrmannsberg, through the Kohlseite, once around the Sinzelieth, and over the Kuckelsberg back to Rattlar.
The residents of Rattlar themselves enjoy hiking and offer their guests guided routes, well-maintained hiking trails, a water-treading basin for health strengthening, and a playground for the little ones. The dedicated members of the tourism association ensure the reputation and equipment of the shelter and barbecue hut and that the many holiday benches remain cosy and attractive.
The route initially leads towards Herrmannsberg, then halfway up turns left through the Kohlseite to the K63. It continues a short distance on this road, then turns left towards Dommelmühle, once around the Sinzelieth, crosses the K63 again, and returns over the Kuckelsberg to Rattlar.
Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, packed lunch, and sufficient fluids (water, tea) are recommended.
By car via the B251 to Willingen (Upland), then on to Rattlar to the village center, Am Friedrichsplatz
Bus/train to Willingen station, then continue by bus or call-collect taxi, stop Rattlar, Friedrichsplatz
Free parking at the community hall Rattlar, one minute walk
