Obervellach - Himmelbauer (O01)
Technically easy route to one of the most scenic inns around the Möll Valley! The route is also part of the "Staneralm-Himmelbauer circular route", which is very rewarding but significantly longer and more demanding!
From the main square in Obervellach, initially follow the Glockner Cycle Path R8 to the village of Semslach. Here, the route to Himmelbauer branches off to the right. Following the signposts, past the mighty Groppenstein Castle, through several switchbacks in a steady ascent to the Alm inn Himmelbauer.
Paved route without technical difficulties. Attention to car traffic.
In the summer months, the bike and hiking bus runs daily (except Saturdays) from Spittal-Millstättersee towards Heiligenblut. To the timetable...

If this route is not enough (or if you have new strength after a refreshment at Himmelbauer), you can continue to Staneralm or via the "Staneralm-Himmelbauer circular route" to Flattach. These routes, however, are significantly more challenging than the ascent to Himmelbauer!
