From the east shore of Faakersee it initially goes along the shore to Faak am See. From there continuing westwards to Fürnitz and along the Alpe Adria cycle route to the border with Italy. Shortly before Tarvis the route continues towards Slovenia, where at the border between Italy and Slovenia we reach the picturesque Triglav National Park. The destination is located directly at one of the largest and most impressive ski flying hills in the world, in Planica.
