Family adventures featuring animal puzzles and a wooden marble run
Puzzles on the Himmelsteig, action-packed stations along the Holzwurmweg, the Spoggolino ball track and interactive animal and nature puzzles make Alpinolino Westendorf a diverse and engaging adventure area. Even the ascent on the Alpenrosenbahn cable car ensures a relaxed start to the day in the mountains.
The approximately 1.5 km long Himmelsteig trail begins at Talkaser at 1,770 m. Along the way, 14 interactive stations guide visitors through the world of marmots and other mountain dwellers such as woodpeckers, stoats and mice. Each station presents a little puzzle and invites you to join in. On the Choralpe plateau is the ‘Spoggolino’ ball track, where balls roll up and down at speed.
For some extra exercise, the Holzwurmweg trail from the middle station is ideal. Along the trail, the focus is on playful elements such as drilling, winding and jumping. The route leads past huts and through varied natural scenery.
The trails are family-friendly, and the mountain railway makes access easier. With the Mountain Railway Adventure Card, you can explore other adventure worlds in addition to the Alpinolino.
