Baden moated castle tour

The starting point is the diverse town of Baden. The urban space contrasts with the traditional
spa district.

Leave the lively town behind you and follow the route across green fields to Mülligen. In the middle of the village, directly on the Reuss, is the ancient mill, which dates back to Habsburg rule.

Soon after, you can watch gliders gliding elegantly through the air. This is because the Birrfeld airfield, founded in 1937, is located nearby. Following the Reuss downstream, you soon reach Windisch and its famous Königsfelden monastery. Founded by the Habsburgs, it now enjoys a Europe-wide reputation thanks to its magnificent stained glass windows.
