From the market square in Hallenberg, the route initially follows asphalt, then steeply climbs on gravel to Heidkopf. A detour to the summit tower is worthwhile because the view is magnificent. Then it continues almost without climbs on the ridge to the Pastorenwiesen and further down to Trambach, a small settlement. Now we cycle on the border path, first gently and later rapidly downhill back to Hallenberg.

Wearing a bicycle helmet should be self-evident for all cyclists. Check before your ride that your bike is in perfect condition. For demanding routes, we recommend packing plenty of drinks and snacks.
